10 Frequently Asked Questions.
1. HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE?
50 photos per hour is guaranteed, but I won't limit the number of images delivered to you! The surplus amount of photos delivered will depend on various factors including the details of your event & quantity of time available during formals. Any images with technical flaws will be removed (such as blinking, blurry photos, repetitive photos..).
2. CAN WE PRINT OUR OWN PHOTOS?
Yes! A personalized print release is included with your photos, therefore you may print anywhere you like, however, quality of prints (colour, sharpness, finish..) is not guaranteed outside my lab. I encourage clients to use our professional printing services for long-lasting prints/albums.
3. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
I'll do my best to hand in those photos to you as quickly as I can without compromising the quality. I know how exciting it can be to receive them! Wedding photos are generally submitted within 3 months after your wedding event, and within 2 months for engagement photos.
4. DO YOU GIVE OUT UNEDITED PHOTOS?
All photos delivered to clients are edited. There are several reasons many photographers including myself, don't deliver unedited photos. Not only does it allow for editing and manipulation without our consent, it is unfinished art. It does not fully represent our artistic work and abilities.
5. DO YOU HAVE AN ASSISTANT OR A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
One photographer (myself) is included in all packages. I bring an assistant with me to make sure we are on track and they may help with lighting, positioning for group shots and in many other ways. I am confidently able to work alone and capture all the events of your day, but depending on the amount of coverage you would like, a second shooter can be made available to you at an extra cost (Contact Us for rates).
6. DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS & ENGAGEMENTS?
Although I focus my work on couples, engagements and weddings, I will take on occasional portrait, family and maternity photography job requests! Doing this allows me to keep in touch with past clients and witness their family grow!
7. WILL YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF TORONTO FOR EVENTS?
Yes! I am available worldwide! There is a travel fee for destinations over 90 Km from North York, ON. Contact Us for more information!
8. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use canon 5D Mark III camera bodies with Canon's highest quality L series lenses only. Image quality is essential so my backup gear also comprises of the same equipment.
9. DO YOU NEED A DEPOSIT?
A non-refundable deposit of 30% and a signed contract is required to reserve your event date.
10. WHAT IS AN "AFTER-THE-WEDDING" SESSION?
Having a photo session after your Big Day will give you the privacy for intimate, gorgeous photos at a different location with your spouse! Have photos taken when you are both relaxed in a different setting, and you get to wear your wedding attire again!
